ENGLISH

Dune plays with stripes and solid stockinette in an easy, wearable construction. With its hood, Dune has the feel of a knitted hoodie perfect for staying cozy this season. Left plain at the neckline instead, the sweater becomes an everyday basic you’ll love reaching for again and again.

Dune is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch. The striped saddles are knit separately first, then the upper back is worked plain up to the underarm. The fronts are worked separately up to the neckline join, then the whole yoke is worked in the round down to the underarm, joining with the back stitches. After the body hem, stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round for the sleeves, following the striped colorwork pattern with regular decreases down to the cuff. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline to work either the hood or the plain neckband. Hood and sleeves can be worked before the body is finished, to better fine-tune the length of your sweater.

FRANÇAIS

Un jeu de rayures et d’uni qui s’accorde parfaitement avec une construction simple et facile à porter. Sa capuche donne à Dune un air de sweat tricoté, parfait pour se réchauffer en cette saison. Avec l’encolure simple, le pull se transforme en un basique du quotidien qu’on adore porter en toute circonstance.

Dune se tricote du haut vers le bas, sans couture, en jersey. On réalise d’abord les épaulettes rayées séparément, puis le haut du dos jusqu’à hauteur d’emmanchure. On réalise ensuite les devants séparément jusqu’à joindre l’encolure, puis on tricote tout l’empiècement en rond jusqu’à l’emmanchure en joignant les mailles du dos. Après la bordure du bas du corps, on relève les mailles des emmanchures pour tricoter les manches en rond, en poursuivant le motif rayé et avec des diminutions régulières jusqu’au poignet. On relève enfin les mailles de l’encolure pour réaliser soit la capuche, soit l’encolure simple. Vous pouvez réaliser la capuche et les manches avant la fin du corps pour ajuster plus précisément la longueur de votre pull.
