The Duplexity pattern has no backside, and the cables, that gives this design character and warmth, runs on both sides. The Duplexity pattern suits very well for a warm shawl, throw, blanket, scarf or wrap. Since this pattern is quite compact, I recommend using a bigger hook than recommended on the yarn label, and to choose a light yarn such as an acrylic or wool mix.

The Duplexity Pattern gives you instructions how to make both a triangular Shawl and a rectangular wrap/blanket/scarf.

For the shawl in the pictures I used two skeins of the yarn Cotton Kings Sultan Deluxe (100 % cotton; 250 g/1000 m), 25, Edcora Red. If you crochet with a 4.0 mm hook, the shawl will measure approx. 165 x 130 x 90 cm before blocking cm (an asymmetric triangle). You can easily change the size of the shawl to your own preferences, which is also described in the pattern.
