Yarn: BFL/Masham DK by Fru Valborg (75% Masham, 25% Bluefaced Leicester, 240 m / 262 yds on 100 g) OR
Cumbria by The Fibre Co. (60% Merino, 30% Masham, 10% mohair, 218 m / 238 yds on 100 g).
The rusty sample is shown in colourway Corroded on BFL/Masham DK. The dark grey sample shown in Saddleback Slate on Cumbria.
Yardage: 910 (990, 1130, 1320, 1420, 1550) m / 995 (1082, 1235, 1444, 1553, 1695) yds of a light worsted-weight yarn.
Approximately 50 m of a suitable DK or worsted-weight yarn for embroidery, in a contrasting colour. The dark grey sample is embroidered with White Heather on Cumbria.
Needles: 4.5 mm / US 7 for main pattern, 4 mm / US 6 for ribbing.
Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, darning needle.
GAUGE
19 sts x 27 rows to 10 cm / 4” on 4.5 mm / US 7 needles in Stockinette Stitch, after blocking.
