E-reader Cover
This gadget cover is worked in fisherman’s rib, which is a chunky rib pattern to give your device extra padding. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cover is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).
NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).
RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; less than 25g in each colour.
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle for seaming and a 25mm button.
SIZES
One size only - To fit a Kindle e-reader 16.5cm x 11.5cm, or similar sized device.
TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, k1b (knit one below), and seaming to finish.
