Eadgyth
Perfect to wear over a sleeveless top or dress, this shrug is designed to fit snugly over the shoulders and back. The pattern features a Saxon braid cable, and is named for Queen Eadgyth, a 10th century Saxon princess and granddaughter of Alfred the Great. Eadgyth is an early form of the contemporary name Edith, and is pronounced the same way.
Note: The cable patterns are given in chart form, and some important information is indicated with coloured lines. If you are printing in black and white please take a moment to mark the lines into your printed copy.
