The Easily ribbed beanie is a unisex design, one size fits most. The ribbing pattern stretches quite a bit, so it’s a one size fits all. You can stll add more rows if you prefer. Knitted with an aran weight yarn this hat grows really quickly.

The pattern is fully written.
Height 9”, 21” in circumference, unblocked.

Level of Expertise: beginning/advanced beginner

Yarn
I used a single skein of Aran in color, 132 yards a skein in an aran weight. Available at Yarnz2go.

Notions needed
US size 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 16” (42 cm) in length.
A set of double pointed needles are optional.
Stitch marker.
Tapestry needle for finishing.

Gauge: 14 sts and 19 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round, decreasing, picking up stitches with tapestry needle cinching them together, securing the end inside of hat.
