Small amount of Polyester Craft Filling. Oddment of black DK yarn and black felt. 3.50mm, 4.00mm and 5.00mm crochet hooks. Sewing needle.

double crochet - dc - single crochet
half treble - htr - half double
treble - tr - double
double treble - dtr - treble
together - tog
front post treble - fptr - front post double
front post half treble - fphtr - front post half double
spike double crochet - work a dc into the row below, creating an elongated stitch.
sdc - spike single crochet
reverse double crochet - work stitches from left to right, keeping yarn at the back.
rdc - reverse single crochet
