If you are looking for an easy knitted cowl pattern that is relaxing, practical and perfect for using up yarn scraps, this pattern is for you.

This deep knitted cowl is worked in the round using a fabulous technique called helix (helical) knitting. That means you can create neat single-round stripes, without unsightly jogs where you change colour. It’s simple, rhythmic and very satisfying.

Materials
4ply (sock/fingering weight) yarn for size 1 and (size 2):
Approximately 90g (100g) of Main Colour (MC).
Approximately 70g (75g) in total of Contrast Colour or Colours (CC).
3.5mm circular knitting needles, 80cm length.
Wool needle; stitch marker.
