Delicate and all straight edges — there are no curves at all, neckline appearance notwithstanding — this dainty little top is much easier to make than it appears. The lace pattern stitch is only four rows, two of which are purled — and it’s a multiple of 6 stitches plus 2 — how hard is that? Not very.

It goes over most every close-fitting fine cotton tee-type item you have. It makes pants look feminine and skirts look like a girlish suit. The neckline is one of those immensely becoming ones designed to show off earrings or chokers… not to speak of your own collarbones. A minimalist beauty.
