Easy Longies
An easy pattern for crochet longies from sizes 0-3 months all the way through to 24-36 months.
I have supplied the relevant measurements (hips, rise and inseam) along with some hints on how to adjust the pattern should you need to.
Update 22/5/2013
Please note that the 0-3 month size is too big for a newborn as it is not a newborn size. If you want to make it smaller you have to either go down a hook size or adjust the stitches as per my instructions on the website.
This pattern calls for double knit wool/yarn. You may also use light worsted weight yarn (3) as I believe they are similar, but please check your gauge if you do. If you use worsted weight yarn (4), your longies will come out bigger than specified. Most of the sizing issues people have had have been because of this substitution.
I have provided a gauge and inseam, waist and rise measurements. If you do wish to alter your hook/yarn, please check your gauge to ascertain if you need to adjust your stitches accordingly.
