Easy Mittens and I-Cord Headband
A little something about these two designs…
These mittens have NO GUSSET. They do have extra long cuffs which may be easily folded over. (My mittens were always short, so when I started knitting them, I added length to the cuffs.) I learned to make mittens this way many years ago from a friend’s mom and I have knit many for family and friends, which were always well received. I thought I’d try to recreate them and see how other knitters liked them.
The headband is made with I-Cord knit into the edges.
A provisional cast-on is used to begin the headband the ends are grafted together.
These Easy Mittens and I-Cord Head band were made using a strand of each yarn held together throughout.
