These Easy-On No-Scratch Baby Mittens are available in three sizes for preemie and newborn babies. The adjustable cuff opens wide to help guide tiny hands and fingers inside, then overlaps around the wrist. No buttons or elastic are required.

The right and left mittens have separate cuff and closure instructions. The updated pattern includes step-by-step photo tutorials for both mittens and their adjustable closures.

All three sizes use the same written instructions. The hook size and gauge determine the finished size.

Finished Height: 4.25–5.25 inches
Finished Width: 2.25–2.875 inches
Yarn: Light Weight [3] or DK yarn
Tested Substitute: King Cole Baby Pure DK
Hooks: 3.5 mm (E), 3.75 mm (F), or 4 mm (G)
Yardage: Approximately 51–88 yards
