Easy Peasy Feathery Shawl
Easy Peasy is Önling’s series of basic patterns of a classic, Nordic design, written in a simple and beginner-friendly language - without any abbreviations. We have designed this very fine, small shawl that only weighs approx. 119 grams. Some might call it a nice little bandana, but light as a feather it is – hence the name, Feathery Shawl. The shawl is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together: 1 strand of our wonderful wool/cotton blend No 12, and one strand of Silk Mohair. This gives you the opportunity to create the most fantastic color combinations. And – who knows? – you may end up knitting more than one? I can think of a lot of color variations.

A: Length approx.: 160 cm / 64 inches
B: Height approx.: 50 cm / 20 inches at the widest point.

Recommended circular needles and notions

Size 4 mm / US 6, 80 cm / 32 inches.

Materials
115 g (1 cone) Önling No 12, 55% wool and 45% cotton, 800 m per 115 g.
75 g Önling No 10, 70% Mohair and 30% Silk, 210 m per 25 g.

The shawl is worked all the way through with one strand of No 12 and one strand of No 10 held together.

Recommended circular needle size 4 mm / US 6.

Gauge
20 sts and 32 rows of stockinette on needle size 4 mm / US 6 = 10 x 10 cm / 4x4 inches.
