Sometimes, we just want that kind of pattern – easy, quick, and perfect for the yarn you have in mind. It takes the barest minimum of planning, almost no forethought, and can be altered on the fly with excellent results. Well…one day, I needed just such a pattern. And this is what I got!

This headband pattern is written in an adult size using a worsted weight yarn, which knits up super quickly and easily. The pattern also provides information on modifying the piece to use any yarn/needle combination you like to make any size and width headband you desire.

An adventurous beginner could tackle this headband. It uses 1x1 ribbing, two types of increases, and two types of decreases. Add a snazzy button and you’re done in no time!
