Easy Peasy Headband Advent 2020
The pattern for this headband is simple and easy to follow, without any abbreviations or ‘codes’.
The striking ’knot’ adds a special and feminine trait, and the thick double edge provides extra warmth for your ears during the cold winter months. The size of the headband is easily adjusted, so you may produce warm headbands for all members of the family – even your husband or partner, as the ‘knot’ at the forehead is optional and may be omitted.
The headband is made in organic yarn consisting of 50% Alpaca and 50% first-cut wool, which makes it extremely soft and ‘non-itchy’. The colors are all natural, which means that the yarn is undyed and gets its natural colors from the sheep and the alpaca.

Pura Lana Ecologica, 50% sustainable first-cut wool & 50% Alpaca, 85 m per 50 g.
Selected color: 100 g.
1 strand is used throughout.

Gauge
20 stitches and 25 rounds of pattern on needle size 5 mm / US8=10x10cm/4inches.

Procedure
The headband is worked in the round on a 80 cm / 32- inch circular needle using the Magic Loop method.
It is made as a narrow tube, worked from the front of the forehead, around the head, back to the front, and bound off. Then the headband is sewn together using a clever and decorative folding technique.
