Size 4.0 mm / US 6

32 inches and perhaps 40 inches long 3 stitch markers

Materials
175 g Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100’s wool, 120 m per 25 g.
or
250 g Önling No 15, 100% Merino wool

The shawl is worked with one strand of yarn.

Recommended circular needle size 3.5 mm / US 4 for shawl and size 4.0 mm / US 6 for edge.

Gauge
23 stitches and 46 rows (23 ridges) of garter stitch on needle size 3.5/US4=10x10cm/4x4inches.

Procedure
The shawl is worked from the center back and outwards. You start by casting on 1 stitch, then knitting and working increases throughout the shawl. When you have used up 1 ball of each of the colors A-F, the rib hem is worked with the last ball of Color A.
