Echo
This shawl is knitted in a crescent shape, created with a combination of garter-stitch strips that repeat like an echo, fading away into the air. The result is a lightweight, airy shawl that is sure to bring a touch of elegance to any outfit.

NOTES
This easy-to-knit shawl is almost entirely worked in garter stitch and is perfect for beginners. Therefore, the following notes are aimed primarily at first-time knitters.
The work begins with the “Garter tab cast-on” method, which is a way of starting a shawl around a small garter-stitch tab. If needed, you can watch our tutorial here: youtu.be/-Lxt0uJfk20. If, despite the help of the tutorial, this type of technique is intimidating, you can simply cast on 7 stitches using your favorite method.
The final part is knitted with a few short rows using the German Short Rows method. This method is explained at the end of the pattern under ABBREVIATIONS, and you can also access our video tutorial here: youtu.be/3rMeO0H-yLk
Again, if this last step seems too complex, you can bind off after the last band.
