Ecrins is a round yoke pullover worked seamlessly from the top down, featuring a graceful eyelet stitch pattern that radiates from the neckline. Work stars at the neckband. The body and the sleeves are divided at underarm, and worked separately from the top down. The body is completed first, after which you work the sleeves. Short rows shape the back and give more length.

Yarn & notions:
This sweater is knitted with two strands of yarn (a fingering weight and a lace weight held together) If you prefer you can use one strand of a DK weight yarn.

• 900 (950, 1000, 1100, 1250) (1380, 1490, 1600) m / 985 (1040, 1100, 1200, 1370) (1510, 1630, 1750) yards of each yarn or one strand of DK weight. Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate.
• US 5 / 3.75 mm and US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needles or size to obtain the correct gauge.
• Stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.

Ecrins est tricoté sans couture du haut vers le bas avec un empiècement circulaire orné d’un motif ajouré. Après avoir tricoté l’empiècement, le corps et les manches sont ensuite séparés pour être tricotés, successivement, du haut vers le bas. Une série de rangs raccourcis est effectuée dans le dos afin de lui donner plus de longueur. Les manches se terminent par des diminutions pour obtenir un effet de manches ballon.

Laine et matériels :
Le pull se tricote avec un mélange de 2 fils (fingering et lace). Il est possible également d’utiliser un seul fil de laine de type DK.

• Anneaux marqueurs, aiguille à laine, ramasse-maille ou brin de laine afin de laisser les mailles en attente.
