Finally it’s here! A FLAT KNIT version of the wonderful Eddie Lizzard! That’s right, no double pointed or circular needles necessary, just pick up your regular needles and you’re good to go!

This is a superfast knit using just scraps of yarn, so bust that stash!

The example is knit with worsted weight cotton yarn on U.S. size 3 (3.25 mm) needles, but virtually any kind of yarn could be used. Eddie is approximately 2 inches (5 cm)tall, and 8 inches (20 cm) high, but size will change depending on choice of yarn and needle size.

The body is knit in one piece, and the eyes and legs are knit separately. Strategic increases and decreases are used for shaping, with row by row instructions provided. Photos and stitch descriptions are included.
