Eddie Tank
Eddie Tank is a simple Fisherman’s Rib tank top, worked seamlessly, top-down, with easy shaping that is very intuitive to work, making this a beginner friendly project. Top features a v-neck opening that is slightly lower in the front, and split hem that is longer in the back. Optional stripes can be worked into the body, and can be customized to be any width or colors. Finally, the Eddie Bauer Adventure Cotton yarn used for this design is very affordable, and creates a lovely breathable fabric that is perfect for summer weather.

Gauge
24 sts x 24 rows = 4” x 4” in Fisherman’s Rib, measured slightly stretched down.
Notes
When measuring in Fisherman’s Rib fabric, slightly stretch the fabric downwards to replicate drape that will be happening during wear.
When increasing in pattern, incorporate new sts into the ribbing on the following row by working new knit stitch as k1b.
Customization
You can easily add length to the garment, depth to the v-neck by lengthening straps, or change armhole depth to suit your preferences by simply knitting a few additional rows. Keep in mind that this fabric is very stretchy, but tends to stretch lengthwise when worn.
