Eensy-Beensy Socklets
Oh, such fun! These bring a smile to everyone. Knit in bulky yarn, they make a great tree ornament. Put a candy cane or lip balm in it… either for a small gift or package embellishment.
Each size of yarn uses the same pattern, but makes a different size. This is a great way to use leftover oddball yarns. It looks great in ribbon yarns you may have left over… shiny is lovely on an ornament.
Fingering yarns work great to make earrings, and they are also shaped perfectly for fashion dolls’ pointed feet!
Consider making garlands with i-cord and attaching these mini socks on them for a miniature Christmas Tree. Or make a handful and make yourself a socklet necklace. Any way you go, smiles will follow you.
I have made a few with laceweight merino yarn and size 0000/ 1.25mm needles. Those take a little more focus, but a pair makes a positively wonderful earring.
