The Eggcellent Vest is a fun statement piece for intermediate or very confident beginner knitters. The process consists of 4 parts:

The Back Panel
The Front Panel
Adding the Egg Yolks via duplicate stitch
Seaming & Ribs
Techniques required: Long Tail Cast On, Stockinette Stitch, Intarsia, K2tog, Bind Off, Picking Up Stitches, Reading Charts.

S: w 45 cm (17,7 in), 46 cm (18,1 in)

L: w 57 (22,4 in), l 47 cm (18,5 in)
XL: w 65 cm (25,6 in), l 48 cm (18,9 in)
XXL: w 70 cm (27,6 in), l 49 cm (19,3 in)
XXXL: w 75 cm (29,5 in), l 50 cm (19,7 in)

✨ GAUGE ✨

10 cm x 10 cm = 16 sts x 24 rows knit flat in stockinette on 5 mm

✨ MATERIALS ✨

Filcolana Peruvian Highland Wool:
2 (2) 2 (3) 3 (3) 3x Black (102)
3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (4) 5 x Natural White (101)
1 (1) 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 x Sunflower (223)

You can use any yarn as long as you match gauge. Some alternatives my test knitters have used:

Manos Del Uruguay Maxima
KnitPicks Snugglepuff
Big Twist Value Worsted Yarn
Lily Sugar’n Cream

5 mm & 4 mm circular needles (w/ chord at least 60 cm; you can also use straight needles for the body)
tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
crochet hook (not necessary but makes picking up stitches easier)
1 stitch marker
