The name in Beyer Band 711, page 1, is “Eichel”, photo page 1, chart Fig. 23.

Pattern was called “Runde Decke 37” in Anna and “Runde Tischdecke” in Burda Praxis.

Burda Praxis calls for Coats Mez Glanzhaekelgarn # 50 yarn (120 g yarn overall) with the 2.0 mm needles and .75 mm hook.

Note: There are two designers listed for Beyer Band 711: Herbert Niebling and Marianne Vitt. Please see this forum post for an explanation of why Marianne Vitt is the presumed designer of this pattern.
