The Eileen Blanket is a lightweight cotton blanket perfect for those summer babies or picnics with the family. This blanket is great for playing on or snuggling up together. Crocheted with Bernat Baby Softee Cotton the natural materials and subtle color palette are a stunning combination.

The wattle stitch gives this blanket it’s texture and is an easy stitch to learn, if it’s new for you I’ve linked a tutorial here. I gifted this beauty to a little lady so I added a small border, but I think this one would make a wonderful borderless blanket.

MATERIALS

1500 yds of #3 lightweight yarn, I used Bernat Softee Baby Cotton* in Feather Gray Color A and Soft Plum Color B.
4 mm (G) hook*
Yarn needle, Measuring tape, Scissors*
