Eiri Baby is a baby cardigan inspired by the mosaic pattern of my shawl ”Eiri” in my book ”Sjaler Nordfra”. It is a simple, yet visually stunning pattern, which fits nicely on the round yoke of the cardigan.
The cardigan is knit flat from the top down, and the neck is shaped by short rows. The sleeves are knit in the round. As the stitch pattern is a mosaic pattern, you never knit with more than one colour at a time. Button bands are worked at the end.

Eiri baby is the first pattern of a series, which also includes Eiri Junior and soon Eiri Voksen (adult) as well.
