Eldwick is a long textured and reversible wrap, inspired by my love of Wollmeise Lace-Garn and simple yet elegant shawls.

Eldwick features an interrupted rib stitch pattern that is worked in three panels (2 showing the RS & 1 the WS) across the width of the shawl and separated by eyelet columns, which also feature around the edge. At the centre point, the panel textures reverse, creating a versatile accessory which can be worn as a wrap, or scrunched up and worn as a scarf.

Yarn: Approximately 1722 yds/ 1575 m of a heavy lace weight yarn.

Sample Uses: Wollmeise Lace-Garn (100% Merino, 1722 yds. 1575 m, 300g) in Jeton.

Size: One size only: Approximately 24.4 inches/62 cm wide by 97.25 inches/247 cm long.

Skills Required: worked flat, percentage system for length.

Fun Fact: The working title for this pattern was ‘Vestrit’ as I was re-reading The Liveship Traders Trilogy by Robin Hobb at the time and kept thinking of the eyelets as portholes.
