Eleanor Sweater
Eleanor Sweater is an elegant yet simple pullover sweater knit from the top down in the round with raglan sleeves. It is seamless, comes in 6 size options, and features a central cable motif accentuated by the plain stockinette of the rest of the sweater. I named it Eleanor after one of my favorite characters from Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility who was very elegant, down to earth and sensible – much like this sweater.
Both charted and written instructions for the cable pattern (which is an adaptation of a stitch found in 50 Fabulous Knit Aran Stitches by Rita Weiss) are included. I hope you will find this sweater to be cheerful addition to your wardrobe. Happy Knitting!
