Electra is a semi-circular shawl with a ruffled knitted-on border.
It has elongated sides which could be tied in the back to create a lovely wrap. The electric blue and green are sure to make a statement.

The shawl knitted top-down consists of striped and plain panels knitted in a garter and stocking stitch for added interest. All the increases are clearly marked and explained in the notes.
The ruffle uses simple short row shaping (very basic).
It is worked in two colours of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light yarn, Lapis and Forestry. I have used 240grams (2.4skeins) of Lapis and 55g (0.55 skein) of Forestry.

It is a very easy yet interesting knit. It can be worked in any sock weight yarn and in any colour combinations.
