Elemental is richly textured and warm. It’s knitted in one strip and then twisted and joined to make a moebius cowl. The wavy ripples are easy to knit, most of the rows being simple knit or purl.

The strip for this cowl is about 19 cm wide and it can be knitted with about 80 g of Stylecraft Batik Elements or similar weight yarn. The pattern could also be used to make a thick, reversible scarf, using
200 g of the same yarn.
