I originally made this vest in the multicolor version. Each color represented one of the Elements:Earth malachite),Water (slate), Air (opal),and Fire (amethyst). I often write a little poem to keep me on course….

Earth, Air, Fire, Water
like the Earth
wool is made of the elements
mountains of earth, waves of water
air rising gently, edged with fire …
……as are we all.
