Elephant Scarf
This is a spicy scarf pattern, full of personal flavor, texture and class. Choose your own colorways to best suit your own personal style. Bright colors add excitement while classic stripes and a sturdy solid make this an excellent scarf to wear year-round.
The pattern includes instructions for the scarf both with and without the eyelash accent rows, for those who either want or don’t want a little extra spice in their scarf.
Scarf blocks to approximately 60” long, but because of the pattern stitch it will seem much shorter pre-blocking.
Pattern requires one skein of Boboli and one skein of a solid or heathered worsted weight yarn, such as the Cascade 220 line.
If you are careful to stay in gauge, this is not a ‘close knit’ and you won’t have to hold your breath that you are running out of yarn, though there is not so much left over that you feel wasteful.
There are bonus instructions for a headband that matches. If you stay in gauge, there is just enough yarn left for this extra treat.
