Elica
Inspired by the quiet beauty of tree bark with its infinite variety of textures and colors, Elica elevates a simple side-to-side shawl construction by mixing a variety of stitches for tactile and visual interest (CHART ONLY).
The body of this shawl is worked in easy garter stitch and features a wide border of flowing cables combined with rows of eyelets and twists. The simple twists are repeated at the top edge along with a row of yarn overs, which also provide for a convenient placement of blocking wires. The stitch textures are interesting on both sides, making this shawl reversible.
