Eliska Cowl
I cannot resist a skein of variegated yarn. For me, as for many knitters, I suspect, the vibrant collection of colours is just too tempting. Sometimes, though, these skeins marinate in my stash for far too long, waiting for the right pattern to do them justice. So, I set out to design a cowl and hat for three of my favourite of these skeins, in the lovely Colour Adventures Serendipity colourway.
Eliska Cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up in a cable pattern, and is suitable for worsted or aran weight yarns that block well. Use your favourite variegated skeins, or solid or semi-solid colours – the stitch pattern will look equally lovely in them all. Choose from two sizes – large will drape in elegant folds around your neck, and small is perfect for wearing inside a coat.
