From the author: "I wanted to create a version of the historic jacket in modern yarns, and the achievement of this aim turned into an exercise involving innovative use of the Fair Isle technique.  The Elizabethan Jacket requires skill to make, but it is worth the effort to reproduce something that could have been knitted around the same time  that Shakespeare wrote A Midsummer Night’s Dream."
