Based on an old pattern from 1942 for a baby blanket, this is a delicate, airy lace pattern that will make a special heirloom for a special lady. I designed this for my daughter’s best friend to wear on her wedding day in hopes of great love and happiness.

The stitch count changes from row to row on this due to yarn overs and decreases not always being on the same row.

Two sizes in this, the smaller is 14 by 56” and has tassels and is knit with 350 yards and the larger is 21 by 72” and uses 665 yards.
