Errata at Bottom

Ellery is a single-color interpretation of traditional Cowichan sweaters. In this version, the horizontal bands are created with simple texture patterns, with the center band coming together in the back to form an unexpected diamond motif. A shawl collar gives it a classic feel, while the bulky wool means Ellery can be knit in no time at all.

This sweater is worked in pieces from the bottom up. It is joined at the underarms and the top is shaped with a combination of circular yoke and raglan shaping. Stitch patterns are only charted.

Sample is 38.25” size; model is 34” bust.

Stockinette Stitch gauge is 16 sts and 20 rows = 4” on larger needles.
