Who is Elyndar?
Elyndar is a woman of the early twentieth century, shaped by the suffragette movement that demanded political rights for women at a time when such demands were considered improper, and even criminal
This shawl draws inspiration from the ornamental language of the period in which these women lived and fought, combining straight lines with botanical elements.
Construction
Elyndar is an elongated triangular shawl worked from the tip, shaped through regular increases along a central spine.
The construction creates a strong structural axis, from which the geometric lines and botanical motifs develop progressively toward the border.
Features
Elyndar is worked using my Filigree technique that allows the motifs to emerge with clarity and depth, balancing clean geometric lines with a rhythmic sequence of leaf motifs that remain consistent through the body of the shawl. At the border, the motif expands dramatically, creating a bold visual shift.

The pattern is fully written and charted.
