“Emanuela” shawlette has been designed for a new “Breathless DK” yarn from Shalimar Yarns beautifully hand dyed by Kristi.

It is knitted top-down into a crescent shape using simple short rows technique and features wide lacy border with a crocheted picot edge. The shawlette is fairly easy to knit, use charts or written instructions. It is suitable for intermediate and advanced knitting skills levels.

Sample shown in “Emerald Isle” is approximately 55” wide and 10” deep and takes one full skein of “Breathless DK” to knit (270 yards with little left).

The size can be easily adjusted depending on the individual preference making it a very versatile piece.

Make a small size and wear it as a scarf!
Knit a large shawl and it will be perfect for an evening out!
If beads are your thing add them to the lace border and bind off for a glamorous wrap!
