Embracing joy is something that we all need to work on. No matter what is happening in our lives we must take the time to find joy. I believe that was the spirit of first Juneteenth celebration, Jubilee, for which this piece was made for. It was first released as a kit with Lady Dye Yarns for their Juneteenth Club 2021.

I found joy in choosing the colors and stitches that make up this shawl. I found joy in every stitch while creating it. I hope you find joy in it as well.

Notes: The shawl is made tip to tip and creates a trapezoid shape. This pattern assumes knowledge of basic Tunisian crochet stitches. All rows have a standard return pass. Be careful not to miss any yarn over stitches in the lace. Tip: For straight edges, tighten the loop on your hook on the Forward pass. Make sure you go through two loops on the left edge stitch.
