These little Christmas mitts are knitted in the round with ribbed cuffs and tops, using any 4ply yarn. I made these in merino sock yarn. They have plenty of stretch to fit any woman’s hand.
The dove is embroidered using a contrast coloured scrap of 4ply and simple chain stitch and daisy chain stitch (well within the capabilities of the most inexperienced needle-crafter!). The pattern includes templates for the dove which can be traced onto water soluble tracing paper and stitched through.
