This pattern is on page 204 of the book. The directions give a new way of making the garment. Instead of a long strip wrapped around the body and seamed at the back and across the shoulders, it is knitted in a T-shape, “which obviates the ugly join across the back, and has exactly the same result”.

Instructions are not given for making buttonholes. The pattern could easily be enlarged by using thicker yarn and larger needles.
