Emily is a versatile shallow shawl that can be easily worn every day or dressed up for a special occasion. The pattern uses just under 150g of 4ply/ fingering or sock weight yarn and a 5mm crochet hook. When blocked, the shawl measures approximately 1.7m in length and 40cm deep, so it can easily be worn as either a shawl or a scarf.

The body of the shawl has a very simple repeating pattern, so it works up very quickly. I suggest this pattern is suitable for a practiced or experienced beginner.

The pattern is available to download in both US and UK terminology.

This pattern has been both tested and tech edited.
