Emily Beret
This beautiful beret will keep you toasty warm and in fashion. One basic stitch is used in different ways to create all the beautiful textures in this pattern; from the knit-look ribbing on the hat band, to the richly textured stitching making up the top of the beret.
Materials
• Universal Yarn Classic Shades (aran) weight 70% polyester/30% wool yarn (3.53 oz/197 yds/100 g per skein):
1.5 skeins #731 natural glow
• Size K/10.5/6.5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
Finished Sizes: Circumference: 21 inches
Height: 9.5 inches
Gauge: 9 rows = 4” on ribbed band
Skill Level: Intermediate
Stitches used include - ch, sl st, hdsl
Pattern is written in standard American terms
