EMILY SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN AND YARN
Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern. Summer sweater with lace pattern in thick cotton. Nice lace edge as a finish on sleeves and body. Similar to a crocheted sweater but here you can knit it!
Named after one of our favorite series “Emily in Paris”. Sweater is knitted top down, back and forth. Sleeves are knitted top down, back and forth, by knitting stitches on the front and back piece. Easy assembly with mattress stitch.
The fit is wide and short. Neck opening somewhat wide, sleeves with a flare. Easy to adjust length as it is knitted from the top down. The garment has a range of movement/“positive ease” of approximately 20 (-30) cm. Measure the waist and choose a size according to the measurement that is + 20 cm from your own waist (or according to your preference. Feel free to measure the waist on a sweater you already have and like the fit, maybe you want yours narrower).
The sweater stretches more in width than in length during use.
