Description from Patternfish:

SRK 175 Empire Lace Cardi
Sandi Prosser for Kertzer 2008

This dainty cardi looks much more complicated than it really is. The moss stitch on the bodice is, of course, no more than a 1x1 rib offset every two rows. The vine lace for the ‘skirt’ is one of the simplest lace patterns going; only two pattern rows (every other row is purled), and those are exactly the same except for being offset by one stitch. The armholes are shaped with a view to the garment always being worn over something else (i.e., generously cut), but the 3/4 sleeves have a good high cap for a tailored look. Gauge given is over moss st.
