Soft and flirty, the End of Summer shawl is a fast-growing triangular wrap. Each section builds on the previous one to challenge the beginning crocheter with new stitch patterns but yet keep the advanced crocheter engaged. Use lace weight yarn for the summer to fall transition but the pattern lends itself to use fingering weight as well for a bit warmer wrap.

Finished Size:
The unblocked shawl is 64 inches wide and 24 inches deep. However, blocking will allow the shawl to grow significantly and open up the lacy stitches.
The blocked shawl is 70 inches wide by 31 inches deep.

Sample uses Ella Rae Rustic Lace (75% Lambswool / 25% Silk; 1.75 oz /50g = 310 yards /284 m) 4 skeins in coordinating colors. I personally like this combination: A) #10 Ashwood, B) #23 Orchid, C) #24 Amethyst, and D) #25 Eggplant
