Enez Brannec Open Cardi
Knitting a cardigan sounds like a big project, involving a lot of yarns, skills and time. with the shaping and calculating can be intimidating. What if we can knit with simple square shape, minimal calculation, and basic techniques? If you are a beginner or just looking for simple, brainless project, this might be the answer for you. you will be knitting back and forth on straight needles and basically making rectangles, with out sewing.
The Enez Brannec open cardi is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. The body is worked back and forth in rows until the separation with the sleeves. The collar is worked at the same time as the body, making this a seamless cardigan!
The neck bands are a continuation of the front, they are joined with a 3-Needle BO and sewn to the neck back, (you do have to join the ends of the collar at the back of the neck, so one little seam.) The sleeves are worked in the round from the underarm to the elbow.
This open cardi is effortless and stylish. It’s sure to be a cardigan you’ll reach for over and over again. the unique construction of this Loose-fitting cardigan makes it a quick and fun knit!
Knit in heavy yarn, all edges are straight, no shaping, and the collar is knit in one piece with the body. it’s a good choose for someone who hasn’t knit a cardi before.
The patterns are beginner friendly, fun and fast to knit and the finished garments are a true wardrobe staple.
