The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke and body are worked flat, but we recommend a circular needle to accomodate the large number of stitches. The sleeves are worked in the round on DPNs. To finish, the button and the buttonhole bands are picked up and worked flat. The lace pattern can be worked either from charts or written instructions, whichever you prefer.
