Overview: The inspiration for these Fair Isle wrist warmers came from the graceful floral colors of my “English Rose Shawl”. I wasn’t quite ready to set them aside, and so I decided to turn the leftover yarn into something lovely.

The wrist warmers are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles, following the colored chart. They take roughly one to two days to complete.

Size: one size - 9,5 cm width x 11,5 cm height (size M)
(suitable for a wrist circumference between 15,5 cm and 17,5 cm)

The size can be adjusted by using knitting needles of a different size and/or by choosing the sport-weight yarn Double Knitting (75 m/ 25 g) from Jamieson’s of Shetland instead of Spindrift.

Needles: double pointed needles of size 3 mm/ UK 11/ US 2 ½

Überblick: Die Inspiration für diese Fair Isle - Handgelenkwärmer stammt von meinem “English Rose Shawl”. Ich wollte diese anmutigen Rosé - Farben noch nicht beiseitelegen, und habe so aus den Garnresten noch etwas Schönes gezaubert.
Die Handgelenkwärmer werden in einem Stück auf einem Nadelspiel in Runden anhand des farbigen Zählmusters gestrickt. Für die Fertigstellung benötigt Ihr etwa 1 bis 2 Tage.
