Enola Sweater and Tee (Fingering Weight)

This seamless sweater, like it’s original Enola tee version, is knit from the bottom up, in the round. This is knit using fingering weight yarn and gives you the option of knitting it with or without sleeves. It has more positive ease than it’s original lace-weight version.

The sweater commences with a twisted stitch rib hem, followed by flattering shaping increases to allow for ease of wear. It is then divided into two halves where the back and fronts are worked separately in the flat. There is a little short rowing for shoulder shaping and the finished twisted rib boat neck collar adds to the symmetry of this elegant sweater. Twisted rib faux side seams and sleeves add minimal detail without being overly fussy.

Please note the following:
For Size M1
For the single colour Tee: Please be aware that the entirety of each skein was used, so you may require more yarn.
For the Colour Block sweater, it is recommended that you swatch in Colour C.

For Colour Block Sweater Size L, the entirety of the skein for the sleeve was used, and it’s therefore recommended that you swatch in either yarn Colour A or B.

Tools:
Needles

• Size 3.5mm/US 4 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length (or size needed to obtain gauge) to knit the garment, and sleeves. If not using magic loop for sleeves, then a set of double pointed needles will be required.
• Additional 60 - 80cm / 24 – 32” circular needle for placing sts on hold and for the 3-needle bind off.
• A spare gauge size DPN, or 0.25mm (1 US size) larger than gauge size needle depending on how tight your bind off is. If you tend to be tight, then opt for the larger needle to complete the 3-needle bind off. Stitch markers: 5 fixed (1 unique) and 1 removable Tapestry/Darning needle Row counter is recommended (optional)

GAUGE
22 sts x 34 rnds = 10cm x 10cm (4”x 4”) in stocking stitch worked in the round after blocking.
Tip: Block and pin swatch, and leave to dry.
